I am a visual artist

Where are you from?

I’m from Ukraine and have been living in Germany for 16 years

Your style in 3 words?

Your weakness? Your strength?

I am a very positive person, for me the water glass is always half full and not vice versa, if you know what I mean. To the weaknesses, hmm sometimes I’m too critical of myself, though in some situations it could be very helpful, like in my artistic work.

What makes you different?

I leave that to the others to decide ..

When did you decide to become an artist?

I have always been a dreamy child in my childhood. For example, at school I was a bad student, because at that time school did not interest me at all, only art. That’s how I decided to become an artist. That was, I think at the time of my schooldays.

What fascinates you about the creative process?

The process itself, the experimental. All at once everything else is unimportant. There is only this moment when the creative process takes place.

A few words about your favorite creation?

It is a very difficult question. I’m the biggest critic myself. If I have made a new picture, maybe I think for a short time, exciting, or very interesting, or wow I’ve felt something. This feeling does not last. In a short time I think about it quite differently. But that’s what keeps me going, does not let me rest, but keeps pushing me on

The work of another who has inspired or inspired you …

There are many exciting works by many artists who inspire me, for example the works of Jaromir Novatny

A new project or idea that you want to work on?

I have recently started to work more with the space, thus covering the space and corroding with the space. I’m interested in that at the moment.

Finish the sentence “More important than my career is …”

my family and my wife

2019: Where are we going?

Everyone goes to what they worked for the year before. That’s exciting.

When the going gets tough…

Then have courage to stay and try to actively change something. Because to go is always easier .. I hope I understood the question correctly.

Favorite places of your city?

Gonsenheimer forest

Do you have a vision?

I have no concrete vision, at least not a lifesaving .. But I wish that society would slowly awake, and set off on the path of further development, at least away from the attitude of a consumer society. This model is no longer up-to-date, and regrettably shows how world-destroying and unconcerned we make our existence.

What would you do if you could change the world?

I would try to invest more in education. This seems to me to be a good guide that can help man to find an individual way, according to the common good of the society.

Tell us about your future plans …

You know, I was born in Odessa on the Black Sea. What I still miss today is more South Sun and sea. So I want to emigrate sometime in the future, where I find the missing again, no matter where. I am very open..

Last but not least, what’s your favorite song?

“Learning to Fly” by Pink Floyd
