The Ritual of everyday life defines our culture, shapes the self and has the capacity to paint the landscape of a different imagined reality. In order to understand the rituals that can be found in and with the banalities and small miracles of life, it is crucial to gain an insight into the lives of those cultivating the practices. Hence, this series captures quotidian rituals through a portrait of a generation of young Berliners today and presents their self-formation through the creation of their individualized and yet collective rituals. The piece explores the habits, dreams and fantasies of individuals of the transmodern era.
