Clemens Wolf, one of the represented artists in magazine issue 3, recently published his first artist book with the Verlag für moderne Kunst Nürnberg.

Before Wolf began studying painting in 2002 at the Kunstuniversität Linz, he was active as a sprayer in the graffiti and street art scene. In the meantime he works in the studio, but the public space continues to be the source of inspiration for his painting, installations and objects.

This first detailed monograph with the work series »Holes N Grids«, »Deforestofences«, »Es ist nicht alles Gold was glänzt«, »Opened Space«, »Behind Freedom / Silent Guards« and »The Great Mess« demonstrates the already great diversity and creative energy of the young Austrian artist.

Wolfs book “#1” comes in various editions.

Clemens Wolf Limited #1 comes in a steel slipcase with die-cut letters on the surface. By making the content “the book” visible through the little letter windows shall remind the reader of the little wholes in fences that only give us a limited view of the behind. It connects to Wolf’s fence works, currently exhibited at Galerie Nikolaus Ruzicska in Salzburg. The Limited edition book is available at Walther Koenig Books in Vienna. The limited edition of numbered and signed 28 books in a steel slipcase with an additional cut-out within the book itself, is available for 399,99. If you are more keen on a cheaper version, you can also buy the book, but only the book without extras for 40 Euros.
