Anna Jacobi is a visual artist whose experimental practice bridges painting, sculpture, and installation. She sees art as a form of radical freedom and a way to explore life, death, and collective responsibility. Her process combines intentional material choices with intuitive openness. Influenced by artists like Etel Adnan and Olav Christopher Jenssen, she often collaborates across cultures—as in her solo show PANIGIRI (2024) with a Syrian artist or in the group exhibition 3yy +100 with artists from Mongolia and Germany. Her installation ARENA (2022) merges recycled materials and painterly elements in a sculptural space. Recent projects include ceramic and wall works (FIRST: 2025) and an open-air stage design (2023) exploring the bond between nature and culture. She finds reflection and inspiration in a cowshed in the Bernese Oberland.
