Where are you from?

I was born in Santiago de Chile. I am from the world.

Your style in 3 words?

Timeless, Mystic, playful

Your weakness? Your strength?

My weakness is to be too obsessive, my strength is to be able to generate harmony …

What makes you different?

Everything! Everybody is different.

When did you decide to become an artist?

When I was born, so I can’t remember.

What do you find most fascinating about the creative process?

What I find most fascinating about my work is how the process introduces my mind to new and fresh ideas that gives me space to new and fresh ideas, becoming myself fresh and new.

A few words about your favourite creation?

For me, creation is a basic need to do for the pleasure of doing, as a way of self-healing, therapy, like vital exercise or a primary need like to breathe, but using our body and our hands through a visual language. I am very satisfied when everything becomes fantastically harmonised in my creations.

Finish the sentence „More important than my career is…“

…my mind.

2021: Where are we going?

Always to a better place

When the going gets tough…

Breathe consciously and listen to the sea.

Put on your future vision glasses: In which direction is our generation moving, what will our world look like in 50 years’ time?

We will be very aware of nature and the importance of what is under our feet, such as basic resources, soil and water. At the same time, we will listen attentively and respectfully to the new generations and take care of the ancestral traditions of the indigenous people.

What would you do if you could change the World?

First I would eliminate Covid, then mass consumption, shopping malls and the lack of awareness about nature and the place where we live.

If the universe is everything and it’s expanding, what is it expanding into?

Energy. Hopefully positive energy.

Tell us about your future plans…

I am currently preparing a textile piece for a group exhibition in Berlin as well as working on two upcoming solo shows, one in June and the other in July, both in Berlin too. For the second half of the year I will show my work at the Decorative Arts Museum in Santiago, Chile which keeps me quite busy and very excited.

Your city’s favourite spots?

Gropius Bau, Humbolthain park, the Panke and my new and super bright studio in Weisensee.

Last but not least: what is your favourite Song?

Never one, always Gracias a la Vida of Violeta Parra. It is like a mantra for me.

One last statement please: „Wood or stone, gold or art?“

Water and awareness bitte bitte
