Troublesome people causing more trouble
When did you decide to become an artist?
Unknowingly, I found myself on the path to becoming an artist
Do you choose your art form, or does the form choose you?
I believe the materials chose me; it is through their acceptance that I could create the works I have today.
What do you find most fascinating about the creative process?
It’s like a continuous practice of repeating the same actions, until finally, you cultivate a vast expanse of land.
A few words about your favorite creation?
My favorite work is ‘Mythical III.’ It represents the culmination of what I want to express at this moment, combining elements of traditional Taiwanese folklore into the piece. The work has a quality that is both glamorous and sorrowful.
What surprised you most about your first art shows?
What surprised me the most was the audience’s reaction. After learning that my work was inspired by crushed animals, they didn’t leave; instead, they quietly observed all the details of the piece.

When the situation gets tough, we should take a moment to pause and reflect, whether it’s to think things through or to take a short nap.
Put on your future vision glasses: What direction is our generation moving in, what will our world look like in 50 years?
The direction of our generation seems to increasingly emphasize the relationship between AI and humans, but I believe the future will circle back to reconsidering the irreplaceability of humanity and the importance of being at peace with oneself.
What would you do if you could change the World?
I hope people can slow down and take a look at themselves and their surroundings, instead of rushing forward relentlessly.
