Where are you from?

London girl with German roots.

What do you do?

I paint the world as I see it, from an emotional standpoint. I also run The Dogfood Idea with fellow artist Marthe Sophie, bringing art exhibitions to public spaces – roundabouts, bridges and street corners.

Tell us more about The Dogfood Idea.

It’s an art group that approaches London as a gallery space. Collaborating with other artists, we move beyond our studio practice and bring our work into the public sphere, to places not always designated for artists. Whether Speaker’s Corner, Old Street Roundabout or a local telephone box, we see the streets as another artistic medium.

Your style in 3 words?

Bold, busy and (quite often) brutal.

What is your weakness?

Being an artist!

What is your strength?

Fearlessness.

What makes you different?

I don’t know, I don’t care and it doesn’t make any difference!’ (Albert Einstein).

Any next projects?

Yes, The Stitch Project will be hosting an auction at The Dairy in London on the 30th November, raising money and awareness for environmental causes. Your chance to bid for one of my pieces!
