When did you decide to become an artist?

Right after high school, although I didn’t really know what it meant back then.

What do you find most fascinating about your work?

The infinite possibilities.

A few words about your favourite creation?

The rare feeling while painting knowing that this will be an exceptional new work. It gives such an uplifting emotional boost. The paintings where I got that feeling will always be my personal favorites.

Someone else’s work that inspired or inspires you…

I’ve always admired the color palette of Ernst Ludwig Kirchner.

Who would you like to work with someday and why?

I would like to work with a fashion designer one day and create wearable paintings.

Put on your future vision glasses: What direction is our generation moving in, what will our world look like in 50 years?

I think our generation is very troubled. We have the power and responsibility for a big change but we have to choose wisely and work hard to achieve it. I hope we will find a way to leave our comfort zone and change our habits to save us and our beautiful planet.

What would you do if you could change the World?

make it a happy, dreamy Utopia for every being

If the universe is everything and it’s expanding, what is it expanding into?

I have no idea.

Tell us about your future plans…

Life is too unpredictable to make plans. I am going to deal with whatever comes my way and hope to make the right decision.

Your city’s favourite spots?

the meadows along the Rhine river, my apartment and my studio, Suli’s Café, every place that serves Altbier from the barrel ☺

Last but not least: what is your favourite Song?

there are too many ☺

One last statement please: „Wood or stone, gold or art?“

stone and art
