Who are you? What do you do?

I’m a french artist and I live in Paris. Currently, I create contrasting large-scale drawings, installations and sculptures mostly ceramic which question the limits of intentions, thoughts, and fonctions of objects.

Where are you from?

I come from Colombes, a city near Paris and I grow up between there and the Pays-Basque, in the southwest of France.

Your weakness? Your strength?

I need people.

What makes you different?

I have eleven toes.

When did you decide to become an artist?

Rather late, I always had an inquiring mind but it took me a while to dare to make it my job.

What do you find most fascinating about the creative process?

The creative process is all about surviving and solve problems.

A few words about your favourite creation?

More my favorite reaction. In front of one of my sculptures, a kid said : « It looks like a big birthday cake ». I thought it was cute.

Who would you like to work with someday and why?

The same one’s but they are all dead.

A new project coming up or an idea you want to work on?

I prepare my solo show at the A. Romy Gallery in Geneva.

2020: Where are we going?

I think we are going to a unique thought. And that is not good.

When the going gets tough…

When the going gets tough I do a party in the forest then I sleep there.

Your city’s favourite spots?

The Buttes-Chaumont Park, a big garden landscaped during the 19th century in the 19th arrondissement of Paris.

Put on your future vision glasses: What direction is our generation moving in, what will our world look like in 50 years?

In the future I believe slowness will be revered.

What would you do if you could change the World?

Playtime everyday for everyone.

If the universe is everything and it’s expanding, what is it expanding into?

In a bubble, in a bottle of Champagne, probably.

Tell us about your future plans…

I will go to the Cité Internationale des Arts, an art residency in Paris for a year.

Last but not least: what is your favourite Song?

The 1977’s song « A letter from home » from « Blue » Gene Tyranny, without a doubt the most beautiful song and poem I ever heard.
