In Berlin spring exploded punctually for the start of the 7th Berlin Biennale and Gallery Weekend. Days of sun, fun, art, parties, people… The 1. of may weekend is an important one for art lovers just as it is for the cities party animals (with the official start of the open-air party season). For three days (and nights) we jumped onto our bikes to move from galleries to raves, from launch parties or art performances. Powered by the heat and buzzing atmosphere we managed to get a little taste of it all and, as it usually happens in spring, fell in love with Berlin all over again! Here a photo-diary that takes you from a morning in the embassy (Italy) to a night at Pick Nick (Toiletpaper Magazine), from hidden parties in Kreuzberg to an exhibition at Contemporary Fine Arts (Julian Schnabel), Anselm Reyle’s studio in Treptow, Galerie Crone in the Gallery District and beyond.
