Diana Scheunemann is a German-born, Swiss-raised photographer who travels the world searching for stimulating and inspiring subjects to capture. With an honest, vivid and erotic eye she photographs her life and experiences for a collection of highly autobiographical work.
Last summer, Scheunemann who now lives and works in New York went on a Roadtrip through the USA. It took her 60 days, traveling a total of 10,128 miles across 21 states to meet the right 60 people to portray and interview for her latest photography and soon-to-be film project Love American Skin.
“Her uncompromising approach to visual arts encourages the viewer to question the boundaries between utopia and reality” says Alice Roberts.
