Who are you? Where are you from? What do you do?
We are an Austrian music project founded 2011 in Vienna. We are several people who try to combine creative elements such as music, fashion, design, film, animation and so on who work together on this project.
From a musical perspective there‘s Max Proll (mandolin/arrangement), Simon Hosemann (guitar/piano), Jacob Hosemann (violin/drums) and Lukas Cioni the singer and songwriter of Blinded by Stardust. We´re working together on this project with filmmakers like Nina Worisch (DeadRabbitMedia), graphic designers like Wolfgang Sam, multimedia artists like Niklas Worisch, street artists, designers, or journalists like Julia Leiwandowski.
Working and connecting with other creatives is a great source of inspiration for the whole music project Blinded by Stardust. While working together we inspire each other and this is also the main idea of our music project. Doing whatever you want but still working and building something new together.

What is your weakness?
There are times when we get really obsessed about realizing ideas, making movies or music together. Many opinions are coming together and automatically cause some difficulties. It may be a bit stressful and – to tell you the truth – challenging. But at the end of every project we’re satisfied with the result due to the fact that every single one of us put his whole inspiration, love and heart into it.
What is your strength?
To do nearly everything we want to. We´re glad to have the freedom to use several creative elements and to combine them in different ways.
What makes you different?
We are an open music project, collaborating with several artist of any given kind.
A few words about your work?
We started the project in 2011 featuring our first single Cleared & Removed. All of a sudden the song aired on radio stations and won one of the international RightOutTV Music Awards 2011.
Our intention of inspiring each other and not only focusing on one musical direction led us to our second single/music video: Can´t We Just Dance Instead feat. Biuna – An electro feature combined with an extraordinary music video shot in the wonderful city of Vienna.
During this time the vision of our third single Changes arose. A tribute to freedom, friendship and love. With more then 50 hours of footage, containing material from all four seasons of a year we had one ambitious concept: The vision of creating a music video that not only portrays friendship and love but also visualizes change as a necessity of human existence. The thin line between love and war.
How do you face uncertainties?
Well, nobody is immune to uncertainties. But with the possibility of honest feedback (that could and should also be negative) that we try giving each other, we have the opportunity to rise above our doubts and to appreciate what we’ve done.
Any new project coming up, you want to tell us about?
Right now we´re organizing ourselves, focusing on our music. We´re creating new songs, trying out new musical directions and preparing a few small shows. We’re simply trying to enjoy the whole situation. It´s a good feeling to know that the things we do work out quite fine. We´re glad to announce that nearly one month ago Changes won the Austrian BMVAward for “Best Music Video 2012” and Can´t We Just Dance Instead ft. Biuna won “Best Directing & Best Story 2012” as well as the RightOutTvAward 2012 for “Best Electronic/Dance Music Video”.
