Since when Ai Weiwei came back to Beijing, after living in New York, he worked greatly through photography, documenting everyday life and social issues of China, and discussing them on social medias at the same time. His photos attest the large changes that are happening in China.

Arrested after trying to organize a farewell party, complaining for the demolition of his studio in Shanghai, Ai Weiwei is an absolute talent: photographer, but also architect, video maker, blogger, critic, activist, he is a strong communicator sensible to the problems of the present Asian society, shouting his comparison with life conditions of the rest of the world.

It is possible to see his works in his solo exhibition, including photos and videos, at Fotomuseum Winterthur, Zurich, until 21st August, when it will be moved to Jeu de Paume in Paris.
